The main obstacle is Israel’s refusal to withdraw its forces from Mount Hermon, which it considers a “red line.”
Trump informed Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa that he has given Netanyahu a one-month deadline to finalize the agreement and reaffirmed his desire for a unified Syria.
